Hello! I'm Anushka Polapally, a high school senior from Katy, TX. I am passionate about solving people-centered problems through the thoughtful design of systems, both digital and organizational.

After seeing the underutilization of diverse volunteering opportunities in my community, I founded Peared, an organization that empowers both student-organizations and volunteers in order to encourage meaningful civic engagement.

I have been recognized by several competitions including the Blue Ocean Entrepreneur Competition, Conrad Challenge, and Diamond Challenge, demonstrating excellence in creating innovations with the potential for significant social impact.

I have a strong background in computational problem solving, formed through my extensive experience in competitive mathematics and computer science. I utilize these problem-solving skills from these fields to inform my approach to tackling complex, real-world challenges.

Currently, I am working on developing optimal iterative refinement pipelines for open-source LLMs. This project was started at the NYU Agentic AI Lab with the assistance of the NYU GSTEM program. Through this work, I hope to democratize high-quality LLM usage and allow for user-data transparency.
